Woman sings national anthem, boyfriend proposes right after (VIDEO)

As far as big days go for a single person, this moment for one young lady at Tropicana Field was like a grand slam and perfect game rolled into one.

There have been countless marriage proposals at ballparks around the country, many of which have their own unique twists. But Adam Deeb's proposal to Shauna Thorne at Sunday's Tampa Bay Rays game may be one of the more memorable.

Adam had worked with the Rays to give Shauna the opportunity to sing the national anthem at a Rays home game — and she finally did before Sunday's matchup against the Rangers.

A nervous Adam waited near the clay of the first-base line during her rendition. No sooner than after she warbled her last "home of the braaaave," he walked onto the infield turf, dropped to his knee and asked her to marry him. And, thankfully, she said yes.

Afterwards, the newly-engaged couple returned to a suite to enjoy the remainder of the game with friends and family. A pretty unforgettable day to say the least.

And a pretty tough act to follow up on Adam.
