College QB posts selfie after getting shot in carjacking (PHOTO)

A college football quarterback shot in his throwing arm responded the way anyone else in his situation would — he posted an Instagram selfie from his hospital bed.

Jonathan Flemming, a student at Houston Baptist University, was shot twice during an early Sunday morning carjacking outside a house party.

The 21-year-old Flemming posted the defiant photo of himself with a bloody bandage after he told KPRC he was forced out of the vehicle just before 2 a.m. and shot  — once each in the right shoulder and heel. He has since been released from a local hospital and is expected to get back to his own brand of gun-slinging with a football in time for the start of the upcoming season.

Flemming said he handed over his keys and wallet but one of the four thugs still shot him twice while he was kneeling with his hands in the air. Luckily the injuries were not life-threatening.

The suspects are still on the loose.
