Cheerleader waves to crowd from stretcher after scary fall at Knicks-Magic game

A member of the Orlando Magic gymnastic cheerleading squad landed on her head during a scary mishap during the Knicks-Magic game and was wheeled off on a stretcher of the Amway Center court while waving to the crowd let them know she was alright.

In a statement, the Magic said that Jamie Woode, a former University of Central Florida cheerleader, was moving her extremities after taking a nasty headfirst spill off the shoulders of one of her gymnast teammates in between the first and second quarters of Tuesday night's NBA game.

Woode waved her hands while both teams and the crowd gave her a round of supportive applause as she was being carted off.



Players and fans watched in horror as Woode hit the mid-court floor didn't move for a couple of minutes .

Paramedics were on the scene and immobilized the young woman before wheeling her off the court.
