D-backs become first MLB team to do the Harlem Shake

A couple of days ago the Saint Leo University baseball team's video of themselves doing the Harlem Shake was a video sensation and became a viral phenomenon. Now the Arizona Diamondbacks have brought their own video meme to the major leagues for the first time.

If you look closely at the D-Backs' Harlem Shake, you'll see someone in Lucha Libre mask kicking off the video then, after the drop, he's joined by Gumby, giant Racing Legends heads, mascot D. Baxter the Bobcat surfing on a golf cart and manager Kirk Gibson re-enacting his 1988 World Series trot on skates.

This looks like a fad that is sure to get as tiresome as all of those "Call Me Maybe" videos last year.

So enjoy the first MLB Harlem Shake.  Look for many more in the future.
